Job summary

Training through ALTP is provided and union membership is required. The position reports to operational leadership in New Hampshire, with duties across multiple sites within the state.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and manual skills for field work.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Must be able to climb poles and work on energized or de-energized circuits.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, repair, maintain, and remove distribution and transmission circuits and substations.
• Rig poles on energized and de-energized circuits; install transformers and related equipment.
• Perform storm restoration and emergency assignments; respond to outages as required.
• Handle overtime during storms and maintain reliable electric service.
