Job summary

Eversource Energy in New Hampshire is seeking a Lineworker to construct, install, repair, maintain, and remove distribution and transmission circuits, substations, and related facilities. You will rig poles on energized and de-energized circuits and install transformers, regulators, capacitors, and reclosures.

The role requires climbing poles, manual dexterity, ability to communicate effectively, and willingness to work overtime for storm restoration and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or GED.
• CDL/A license preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, repair, maintain, and remove distribution and transmission circuits, substations, and related facilities.
• Rig poles on energized and de-energized circuits and install transformers, voltage regulators, capacitors and reclosures.
• Replace fuses, work on underground equipment, and repair energized equipment.
• Be available for storm restoration and emergency assignments; overtime may be required.
• Progress to senior levels and standby coverage as part of career progression.
