Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Lineworker in New Hampshire to construct, install, repair and maintain distribution and transmission circuits, substations and facilities. The role involves rigging poles, installing transformers, working on energized equipment, and overtime for storm restoration.

The position is part of the ALTP, with an 18-month training period, reporting from Legends Drive, Hooksett NH, and potential reporting to multiple NH/MA border sites.

Qualifications

• Requires mechanical aptitude and able to follow instructions.
• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must complete CAST aptitude test.
• CDL/A license preferred; safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, repair, maintain, and remove distribution and transmission circuits, substations and related facilities.
• Rig poles on energized and de-energized circuits; install transformers, voltage regulators, capacitors and reclosures; replace fuses; work on underground equipment and energized equipment.
