Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Lineworker (ALTP, Transmission) in South Hooksett, NH. The role involves building and maintaining transmission lines, substations, and related facilities with a focus on safety and reliability.

The position is part of the ALTP program with an 18-month training period across various NH sites, including Legends Drive in Hooksett. Overtime and storm restoration assignments may apply; union membership is required for bargaining unit employees.

Qualifications

• Must be able to progress to senior levels and provide standby coverage.
• Must obtain a Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with an 'O' endorsement and maintain a valid license.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; CAST aptitude test must be completed.
• CDL/A license and line school experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, repair, maintain, and remove transmission and distribution circuits and substations.
• Rig poles on energized and de-energized circuits; install transformers, voltage regulators, and reclosures.
• Perform storm restoration and emergency assignments; overtime may be required.
• Work in the ALTP training program across multiple NH sites over 18 months.
