Job summary

Eversource Energy in New Hampshire is hiring for an ALTP Lineworker trainee. The program includes an 18-month training period beginning at Legends Drive, Hooksett, NH, with 7:00am–3:30pm hours and potential 4/10 scheduling by mutual agreement.

You will respond to storm restoration and emergency assignments, may relocate to job sites across the state, and must obtain a Class A CDL with an "O" endorsement and a valid license. Union membership is required for this posting.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (Class A with an "O" endorsement), must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, and have a proven safe driving record.
• Must successfully complete the CAST aptitude test.
• CDL/A License preferred.
• Line school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Will have storm restoration and emergency assignments.
• Must be available to work overtime for storm restoration and to maintain electric service at all times.
• ALTP program lasts 18 months with training and progression as a Lineworker.
• Reporting location at Legends Drive, Hooksett, NH with geographic flexibility across NH.
