Job summary

Eversource is seeking a Lineworker in New Hampshire to construct, install, repair, and maintain distribution and transmission circuits and substations. You will rig poles on energized and de-energized circuits and install essential components such as transformers and voltage regulators.

Training through the ALTP is provided, with overtime for storm restoration as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, and a CDL Class A with O endorsement is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A with O endorsement preferred.
• Cast aptitude test to be completed.
• Experience with line school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, repair, maintain, and remove distribution and transmission circuits and substations.
• Rig poles on energized and de-energized circuits; install transformers, regulators, capacitors, and reclosers.
• Replace fuses; work on underground equipment and energized equipment repairs.
• Participate in 18-month Apprentice Lineworker Training Program (ALTP) with location-based assignments.
