Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a dedicated Lineworker through the Apprentice Lineworker Training Program (ALTP) in New Hampshire. The role involves building, repairing and maintaining distribution and transmission circuits, with responsibilities including pole rigging and transformer installation.

The program spans 18 months with training across various NH sites; attendance is required Monday through Friday with potential 4/10 schedules. Overtime and storm restoration work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License (Class A).
• Must successfully complete the CAST aptitude test.
• CDL/A license preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a Lineworker, construct, repair, maintain, and remove distribution and transmission circuits, substations, and associated facilities.
• Rig poles on energized and de-energized circuits; install transformers, voltage regulators, capacitors and reclosures; replace fuses and work on underground equipment.
• Perform tasks associated with lower classifications as needed and maintain communication and safety standards.
• Participate in storm restoration and emergency assignments, and comply with overtime requirements.
