Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required (Electrical preferred).
• Internship/co-op or professional utility experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn utility design principles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation for electric distribution systems.
• Develop construction work packages and supporting design documentation.
• Utilize design software and GIS-based tools to create and maintain utility designs.
• Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, designers, and utility clients to support project delivery.
• Assist with field data collection and verification activities as needed.
• Support project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Participate in client meetings and learn utility design standards and procedures.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced consulting environment.
