Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Design Engineer I to join our Electric Distribution Design team serving major utility providers in the Northeast. You will help plan, design, and execute distribution projects while gaining hands-on experience under experienced mentors.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project managers and engineers, learning utility design standards, and supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment. Limited field work may be required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering program is required or strongly preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or professional experience in electric utilities or distribution design.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and documentation for electric distribution systems.
• Develop construction work packages and supporting design documentation.
• Utilize design software and GIS-based tools to create and maintain utility designs.
