Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group, a Leidos company, seeks a Design Engineer - Electric Distribution to design distribution systems for residential and commercial projects. You will work with Designers and Drafters to prepare complete design packages, perform calculations, and apply relevant codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) from an ABET-accredited university.
• Willingness to travel up to 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Design electric distribution systems for subdivisions, apartments, and mixed-use developments.
• Apply engineering designs with attention to specifications, scope, cost, schedule and quality.
• Collaborate with Designers and Drafters to complete design packages.
• Support simple designs or portions of larger projects with calculations, drawings and analysis.
• Lead design development for smaller projects and assist senior engineers on advanced projects.
• Apply industry codes (RUS, NESC) and utility guidelines in designs.
• Conduct field inspections to gather data and support construction coordination.
