Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking five Election IT Technicians to support polling locations for the November 2026 election. The role is onsite in Greeley, CO, with travel between sites within Weld County.

Technicians will assist election judges, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure smooth operation of polling technology. Compensation is $20.00-$25.00 per hour for a contract assignment Oct 30, 2026 through Nov 4, 2026.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to troubleshoot common issues.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to follow directions and troubleshoot procedures.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel between polling sites within Weld County.
• Ability to lift and move election equipment (20+ lbs).
• Comfortable working independently in a polling place environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technology support during election operations.
• Assist election judges and staff with basic computer issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting (restarts, connectivity checks, peripherals).
• Collect troubleshooting info and relay findings to IT team.
• Travel between assigned election sites as needed.
• Participate in election site setup and teardown.
• Help unload/move equipment and support site operations.
• Maintain neutral conduct at all times.
