Job summary

Tulsa County is seeking an Election Services Technician to assist in election preparation for voting devices and perform Election Day service calls to ensure polling locations maintain required operations.

The role involves preparing voting devices, providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, opening and closing polling locations, making service calls, crowd control, and traveling routes between locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; plus one to three months related experience and/or training.
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare each voting device for use on Election Day.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot voting device issues.
• Open and close a polling location.
• Make service calls to polling locations to deliver paperwork and/or technical assistance.
• Crowd control and guard the machines during Early Voting.
• Visit each polling location within the assigned route at least once, preferably twice.
