Job summary

Maricopa County Elections is seeking a Temporary T-Tech to provide technical collaboration with Poll Workers at polling sites. You will troubleshoot hardware/software, assist with equipment security and retrieval, and support election activities before, during, and after the election cycle.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to travel throughout Maricopa County, and the ability to work overtime. A valid Arizona driver’s license and background screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be a registered voter or able to become a registered voter in Arizona by hire.
• Must pass a background screening and drug/alcohol testing as required for safety-sensitive positions.
• Must possess or obtain a valid unrestricted Arizona driver’s license by hire.
• Ability to work overtime during election cycle.
• May be required to operate a personal vehicle and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical collaboration with Poll Workers at polling sites.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software and assist with equipment security and retrieval.
• Travel throughout Maricopa County to install, repair, and support laptop software/hardware.
• Set up Vote Centers and polling locations before opening for election activities.
• Enter/update information in reports and logs, and assist with other Elections duties as assigned.
