Job summary

Maricopa County Recorder’s Office is seeking Temporary T-Techs to provide technical support for polling locations during elections. You will troubleshoot devices, ensure equipment security, and assist with retrieval activities across the county. A strong basic IT foundation and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 6 months of computer troubleshooting experience is required.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, software and basic networking concepts preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite expected.

Responsibilities

  • Supports troubleshooting efforts during the election cycle and equipment security and retrieval activities at the close of Election Day.
  • Travels throughout Maricopa County to verify voting location procedures for check-in equipment, printers, and other items.
  • Collaborates with Elections t-techs to monitor location operations and troubleshooting.
  • Prepares and retrieves information, enters updates in reports/logs, and assists with documentation.
  • Handles materials and equipment, including carrying a 50lb backpack for repairs.
