Job summary

FirstLight Home Care is seeking a Home Caregiver to provide compassionate, in-home care for clients in Garrard County, Kentucky. The role supports daily living activities, companionship, and mobility assistance, with collaboration across the care team to ensure client comfort and safety.

Full-time, part-time, or temporary options are available, with opportunities for shadowing, mentoring, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a caregiving role or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients.
• Empathy and compassion to provide dignified care.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility tasks.

Role Overview:

As a Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and supportive care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure that each client feels valued and supported. Whether you work full-time or part-time, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you care for.

6. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as Full-Time, Part-Time, or Temporary, with availability needed Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is located in client's homes in Garrard County and all surrounding counties.
