Job summary

FirstLight Home Care in Lexington, KY seeks compassionate Home Caregivers to provide in-home support in Hazard and surrounding counties. This on-site role offers flexible shifts including full-time, part-time, or temporary positions, with travel to clients' homes required.

You will partner with our care team to deliver companionship, meals, personal care, mobility assistance, and medication reminders, ensuring dignity and comfort for clients in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Compassionate nature and genuine concern for others.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and non‑verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of caregiving and personal care practices.
• Ability to assist with transfers and mobility, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Weekend availability.

Role Overview:

As a Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and supportive care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure that each client feels valued and respected, contributing to their overall well‑being and quality of life. This is an on‑site position located in Lexington, Kentucky, where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as Full Time, Part Time, or Temporary, with shifts available Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is located in clients homes in Hazard, Kentucky and all surrounding counties. Caregiver must be willing to travel to client's homes in surrounding counties.
