Job summary

FirstLight Home Care in Somerset, KY is seeking a Home Caregiver to provide compassionate care in clients' homes. You will work with the care team to support well‑being, safety, and quality of life in a hands‑on, on‑site role throughout Somerset and surrounding counties.

This role offers opportunities for growth, with sign‑on and raises, plus mentoring on shift. Availability includes full‑time, part‑time, or temporary schedules.

Qualifications

Role Overview:

As a Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and supportive care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure that each client feels valued and respected, contributing to their overall well‑being and quality of life. This is an on‑site position located in Somerset, Kentucky and surrounding counties, where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Providing companionship and engaging conversation with clients.

3. Assisting clients with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

5. Supporting clients with medication reminders and attending to daily living activities.

6. Flexibility in working hours and availability on weekends.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as Full Time, Part Time, or Temporary, with shifts available Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is located in clients homes in Somerset, Kentucky and all surrounding counties. Caregiver must be willing to travel to client's homes in surrounding counties.
