FirstLight Home Care in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home care to clients. You'll work with our care team to ensure safety, dignity, and comfort during weekend shifts, with options for temporary or part-time schedules.

Responsibilities include companionship, meal prep, assistance with bathing and personal care, light housekeeping, and transportation support as needed. Training and on-shift mentoring are available to help you succeed.

• Weekend daytime availability and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Role Overview:

As a Weekend Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and supportive care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure that each client feels valued and respected, contributing to their overall well-being and quality of life. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or temporarily, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Providing companionship and engaging conversation with clients.
2. Preparing and serving nutritious meals tailored to clients' needs.
3. Assisting clients with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
4. Performing light housekeeping duties, including laundry and maintaining a clean living space.
5. Helping clients with shopping, errands, and transportation as needed.

Qualifications:

3. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients.

5. Ability to work during the day on weekends.

7. Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as Part-Time, or Temporary day shift during the weekend. If available during the weekdays could lead to Full-Time.

Location:

This position is based in client's homes Lexington, Kentucky and all surrounding areas.
