Job summary

FirstLight Home Care is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide compassionate, in-home support in Lexington and surrounding areas. You will collaborate with a care team to deliver personalized care that enhances daily living, dignity, and comfort for clients in their homes.

Available shifts include 12-hour blocks, with weekend coverage. We offer opportunities for mentorship, growth, and affordable health insurance options for part-time and full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance to clients, helping with personal care, hygiene, and meal preparation.
• Monitor client health and well-being, reporting any changes to the care team.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities, promoting socialization and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and errands as needed to maintain a comfortable living environment.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure personalized care plans are being followed and adjusted as needed.

• Currently 12 hour shifts available in Lexington and Georgetown areas, 8am-8pm and 8pm- 8am, Monday thru Sunday.
• Limited time as of 9/29/2026 a $200 sign on bonus to caregivers new to our company. This will be in the form of a one-time payment after at least 80 hours of billable work have been completed

Role Overview:

As a Dedicated Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and supportive care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure that each client feels valued and receives the utmost care and attention. This is located in Lexington, Kentucky, and surrounding areas, where you’ll have the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

Employment Type & Availability:

This position offers full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities, with availability on weekdays and weekends. We are needing dedicated individuals that willing to work 12 hour shifts 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am with availability on weekends and weekdays.

Location:

This position is in the homes of clients that live in Lexington and Georgetown areas.
