Job summary

Mohr Talent is seeking an Elder Abuse Litigation Paralegal in Santa Monica, CA to support seasoned attorneys on meaningful elder abuse cases. The role focuses on intake through trial, drafting pleadings, and managing discovery, calendars, and trial materials.

You will communicate with clients, summarize records, and coordinate with medical providers and experts to drive case progress and maximum recovery for clients. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in elder abuse or personal injury.
• Strong calendaring and case management experience with attention to detail.
• Familiar with California court procedures and e-filing platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of elder abuse litigation, from intake through trial.

A well established and growing personal injury and elder abuse law firm, known for delivering exceptional service and winning results for clients across California and Texas, is hiring an experienced Elder Abuse Litigation Paralegal to join their growing litigation team. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful cases involving vulnerable elderly individuals and their families while supporting attorneys in the pursuit of justice and maximum recovery for clients.

What You'll Do

• Support attorneys through all phases of elder abuse litigation, from intake through trial
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and demand packages
• Prepare exhibit binders, mediation materials, and trial notebooks
• Communicate regularly with clients to gather case updates and supporting documentation
• Review and summarize medical records, facility records, deposition transcripts, and discovery responses
• Coordinate with medical providers, experts, vendors, and opposing counsel
• Assist with trial prep, including witness lists, exhibit management, and courtroom logistics
• Manage litigation calendars and ensure compliance with court deadlines

What You Bring

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in elder abuse, medical negligence, wrongful death, or personal injury
• Strong calendaring and case management experience
• Familiarity with California court procedures, filing deadlines, and e-filing platforms
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
