Job summary

MOHR Talent in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Personal Injury & Elder Abuse Paralegal with at least 3 years of litigation support experience to join our growing firm. This in-person role supports attorneys through all phases of litigation, from intake to trial, and involves drafting pleadings, discovery, and manage calendars.

You will organize trial notebooks, summarize medical and facility records, coordinate with providers and experts, and maintain client communications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, elderly abuse or PI preferred.
• Strong calendaring and case management experience.
• Familiarity with California court procedures and e-filing.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Personal Injury & Elder Abuse Paralegal
Pasadena, CA | In-Person | $30 - $45 /hr | Full-Time

A well established and growing personal injury and elder abuse law firm, recognized for its compassionate, results driven approach on behalf of clients across California and Texas, is hiring an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their growing team. This role offers the chance to work on meaningful cases involving vulnerable elderly individuals and their families, supporting attorneys in the pursuit of justice and maximum recovery.

What You'll Do:

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and demand packages
• Organize exhibit binders, mediation materials, and trial notebooks
• Maintain regular client communication to collect records and case updates
• Review and summarize medical records, facility records, deposition transcripts, and discovery responses
• Coordinate with medical providers, experts, vendors, and opposing counsel
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness lists, exhibit management, and courtroom logistics
• Manage litigation calendars and ensure compliance with filing deadlines

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally in elder abuse, medical negligence, wrongful death, or personal injury
• Strong calendaring and case management background
• Familiarity with California court procedures, deadlines, and e-filing platforms
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
