Job summary

Mohr Talent is seeking an Elder Abuse Litigation Paralegal in Santa Monica, CA to support seasoned attorneys on meaningful elder abuse cases. The role focuses on intake through trial, drafting pleadings, and managing discovery, calendars, and trial materials.

You will communicate with clients, summarize records, and coordinate with medical providers and experts to drive case progress and maximum recovery for clients. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in elder abuse or personal injury.
• Strong calendaring and case management experience with attention to detail.
• Familiar with California court procedures and e-filing platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of elder abuse litigation, from intake through trial.
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and demand packages.
• Prepare exhibit binders, mediation materials, and trial notebooks.
• Communicate with clients to gather case updates and documentation.
• Review medical and facility records, transcripts, and discovery responses.
• Coordinate with medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Assist with trial prep, including witness lists and courtroom logistics.
• Manage litigation calendars and ensure deadlines are met.
