Elder Abuse Litigation Paralegal

An established plaintiff law firm is seeking a paralegal to help pursue claims involving elder abuse and neglect. This role offers meaningful client contact and hands‑on litigation work from intake through trial.

What you’ll do

• Draft pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and demand materials.
• Review and summarize medical records, facility records, deposition transcripts, and discovery responses.
• Track court deadlines and filing requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, medical providers, experts, vendors, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare exhibits and materials for mediation, settlement conferences, and trial.

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience with discovery and trial preparation.
• Experience reviewing medical records and deposition transcripts.
• Familiarity with California court procedures and e‑filing.
• Strong calendaring, writing, and client communication skills.

Elder abuse, medical negligence, wrongful death, or personal injury experience is especially relevant. Spanish fluency is a plus.
