Job summary

SLB is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer in Rancho Cucamonga, CA to serve as the primary commercial contact for key accounts, combining business development with technical elastomer and molded product expertise.

You will independently pursue new business, navigate complex customer organizations, and collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and solutions, while supporting strategic sales initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical sales, business development, or account management.
• Sales experience within elastomer, rubber, or molded product manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of elastomer engineering principles and related manufacturing processes.
• Proven success in prospecting, account mapping, and managing extended sales cycles.
• Experience with consultative selling methodologies.
• Strong CRM and pipeline management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and customer stakeholders.
• Self-motivated professional capable of working independently and driving results.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned customer accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert prospects into active customers.
• Conduct customer visits and maintain regular engagement plans.
• Track opportunities, account activities, and customer data within C4C.
• Monitor competitor activity and market developments to support commercial strategy.
• Partner with internal teams to develop proposals and customer solutions.
• Recommend pricing adjustments based on market conditions and business objectives.
• Support collections activities and customer payment resolution when required.
• Participate in product launches, promotions, and cross-business-line initiatives.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry technologies, products, and market trends.
