IRP Med in San Clemente, CA, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth in medical and aerospace molded elastomer business, focusing on LSR injection molding. This role is ideal for a commercial leader who understands rubber and silicone materials, tooling, and molding processes, and who brings deep industry relationships that can be activated immediately.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in BD, sales engineering, or technical sales in medical device, aerospace elastomers, or silicone/rubber components.
• Strong engineering background in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, or related discipline.
• Experience quoting complex opportunities and early-stage program development.
• Established industry contacts and ability to operate in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and close new business in medical devices, life sciences, and aerospace applications.
• Lead upfront quoting, RFQ evaluation, and tooling strategy with customers.
• Translate customer requirements into clear internal technical and commercial inputs.
• Travel regularly to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
