Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety Professional for our Texas Division in the El Paso area. You will develop and implement site-specific safety programs, conduct audits, and manage incident investigations to ensure compliance with regulations.

Training employees in OSHA compliance and emergency response is part of the role. Strong communication in English/Spanish preferred. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Safety Management, OSHA 500/510, First Aid/CPR/AED, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field preferred (not required if experience substantial).
OSHA 500/510 certification.
First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures ensuring compliance with regulations.
Conduct inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and preventive measures.
Collaborate with project management and site supervisors to integrate safety into planning and execution.
Train employees on safety protocols and emergency response.
