Job summary

CEC Companies seeks a Safety Manager to lead safety coordinators on construction projects in El Paso, TX. You will supervise audits, incident investigations, and daily operations, ensuring safety standards are met. The role is safety sensitive and requires coordination with project leadership.

Qualified candidates have 5–7 years in safety management, a bachelor’s degree in safety/health, and CSP/ASP/CHST or OSHA training. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Occupational Safety or Health.
• Certified safety professional credentials (CSP/ASP/CHST) preferred.
• OSHA 500 & 501 and competent person training required.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety staff and coordinate audits, investigations, and program activities.
• Ensure daily Velocity reports are completed and reviewed for accuracy.
• Lead corrective actions with site leadership to fix deficiencies.
• Maintain knowledge of CEC policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses and communicate findings to leadership.
