The position requires OSHA 500/510 certification, a Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field preferred.
• OSHA 500/510 certification is required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification required.
• Proficient with ISNetworld and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication is essential; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with project management and site supervisors to integrate safety requirements into planning.
• Train employees on safety protocols, hazard recognition, and emergency response; include new hire orientations.
• Maintain accurate safety records, inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
• Perform OSHA training as applicable and provide ongoing safety education.
