Job summary

Glacial Lakes Energy LLC seeks an EHS Training & Compliance Coordinator to foster a safe workplace by advancing environmental, health, and safety performance in line with regulatory requirements and GLE policies. The role supports development and implementation of EHS management systems within plant operations.

The position focuses on creating and delivering training across OSHA, rail, HazMat, and process safety topics, coordinating schedules, and ensuring proper documentation in SafetyAmp.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in safety-related field preferred.
• 2+ years of professional safety experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations.
• Ability to train on safety and environmental topics at all levels.
• Self-starter, highly organized, able to work with diverse teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in MS Office.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EHS training and safety programs.
• Provide OSHA-required safety trainings and certifications.
• Coordinate training schedules for all employees and contractors.
• Lead safety audits, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS documentation and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update policies accordingly.
• Support COOP drills and emergency response exercises.
• Collaborate with plant managers to identify future training needs.
