Job summary

Green Plains Inc. is seeking an EHSS Manager to oversee environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance at the plant level.

This role reports to the VP of EHSS with matrixed support to the Plant Manager and requires hands-on leadership in training, incident investigations, and corrective actions to maintain a zero-harm workplace. You will manage permits, lead EHSS training, direct a potential team of EHSS specialists, and collaborate with production and maintenance to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related field required.
• 5 years of experience in EHSS, preferably in management.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and data management.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility air and water permits, SWPPP, SPCC, FRP, TRI, Tier II, HazWaste, FCC, FAA, HazMat, and other regulatory records and reports.
• Conduct EHSS training in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Promote EHSS awareness at the plant and monitor for compliance.
• Lead EHSS committee and communicate with its members.
