Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an EHS Technician III to implement and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs at the Space Coast facility in Titusville, Florida. The role emphasizes waste management, incident investigations, and rigorous regulatory compliance to support safe operations.

You will lead inspections, data entry, and job hazard analyses while coordinating with cross-functional teams to build a culture of continuous safety improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field required.
• 3–5 years of industry experience preferred.
• Must complete RCRA and DOT training within 6 months for hazardous waste handling.
• Willingness to obtain forklift and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste: consolidate, label, inspect, ship.
• Perform routine environmental and safety inspections (storm water, SPCC, wastewater, extinguishers, eyewash).
• Participate in monthly safety walks and safety committee actions.
• Enter data into EHS software modules and generate reports.
• Serve as a resource for EHS questions and issues across teams.
• Assist in incident investigations and Job Hazard Analyses.
• Support health and safety audits and remediation activities.
• Collaborate on continuous safety improvements.
