Blue Origin is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to support the Florida site operations and broader EHS programs. You will drive hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, conduct audits, and support incident investigations while partnering with teams to advance a safe work environment.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in EHS or related field, knowledge of RCRA/DOT requirements, and the ability to obtain additional certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field is required.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal safety/environmental regulations.
• Must be able to pass background check for DBIDS and other screenings as required.
• Must be flexible to work weekends and off shifts as required.

Responsabilités

• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste: consolidate, label, inspect, and coordinate shipments.
• Conduct routine environmental and safety inspections: storm water, SPCC, wastewater, fire extinguishers.
• Participate in safety walks and committees; follow up on corrective actions.
• Enter and manage data in EHS software modules.
• Support incident investigations and develop Job Hazard Analyses.
• Perform health and safety audits and run reports.
