Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to implement safety programs at the Florida site and support across EHS areas including waste management, inspections, and incident investigations.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in EHS or related field with 3-5 years of experience, willingness to obtain forklift and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications, and the ability to work varied shifts. Join a team focused on safe, compliant operations in aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste: consolidate, label, inspect, coordinate shipments.
• Conduct routine environmental and safety inspections: storm water, SPCC, wastewater, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations.
• Participate in monthly safety walks and safety committees; follow up on corrective actions.
• Collect and enter data into EHS software modules.
• Serve as a resource for EHS answers and issues; assist in incident investigations and JHA reviews.
• Perform health and safety audits; run reports to convey information.
