Job summary

Amgen is hiring an Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHSS) Manager in Thousand Oaks, CA. The role partners with Manufacturing, Clinical Supply, and cross-functional teams to drive safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance continuous improvement in EHS performance.

The ideal candidate will lead risk assessments, implement CAPAs, support regulatory inspections, and champion a culture of safe operations across the organization.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Masters with EHSS experience in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen proactive safety culture across QA, QC, Manufacturing, Facilities & Engineering, and Warehouse Operations.
• Lead EHS programs including hazardous gas safety, LOTO, confined space entry, fall protection, and environmental compliance.
