Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Director of Environmental Health & Safety to lead EHS programs across Manufacturing and Clinical Supply. You will craft and drive a multi-year EHS strategy, integrate risk management into operations, and partner with EHS, Manufacturing, Facilities, and Quality to maintain safety governance and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Doctorate with 4+ years or a Master’s with 8+ years of EHSS leadership, and at least 4 years managing teams or projects

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of EHSS experience.
• Master’s degree and 8 years of EHSS experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of EHSS experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EHS program across MCS to ensure safe biomanufacturing operations.
• Develop and execute a multi-year EHS strategy with measurable goals.
• Establish governance and drive continuous improvement with EHS leadership.
