Job summary

Arvato in Utah is seeking an Environment, Health & Safety Specialist to promote a positive safety culture, ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations, and maintain a safe working environment across our site.

You will develop safety programs, train associates, lead safety observations and audits, manage KPIs, and support incidents investigations while collaborating with site management to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an Environment, Health & Safety related field.
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification.
• Experience in emergency response planning and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer site-specific safety programs.
• Conduct trainings and coaching associates on observed work habits.
• Lead and engage a site safety committee.
• Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to report to onsite management teams.
• Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed and new equipment introductions.
• Track and facilitate trainings across the different jobs functions as needed.
• Support incident reporting and investigation.
• Conduct root cause analyses.
• Complete or facilitate inspections of all safety-related equipment, PPE, and procedures.
• Ensure site complies with all local, state and federal environmental regulations.
• Fulfill client-related EHS requirements.
• Identify and inform management of hazards, compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly, and monthly audits.
