Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking an EHS Manager to lead safety and environmental programs at our Salt Lake City, Utah facility. You will lead a team to ensure a safe, healthy workplace that complies with state and government rules.

Your role includes conducting safety training, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring buildings and equipment meet safety codes, as well as managing injury claims and OSHA records in collaboration with site leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in EH&S roles, including direct supervision of others.
• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Health Sciences, or equivalent with safety laws.
• Proven experience managing safety programs across multiple site operations.
• Strong record-keeping and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• You will manage the daily safety operations for offices and factory floors while guiding a team of supervisors.
• Run safety training, set budgets and schedules, and ensure buildings and equipment meet safety codes.
• Oversee workplace injury claims and OSHA records; collaborate with managers to fix safety issues.
• Assist in hiring and training new team members and share safety updates with plant leadership.
