Job summary

Arvato, a leading global 3PL provider, seeks an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to promote a positive safety culture, ensure compliance with OSHA and regulations, and maintain safe working environments. You will train associates, conduct audits, lead the safety committee, manage safety KPIs, and perform risk assessments when new equipment is introduced.

This role offers opportunities to influence safety practices across sites and support client EHS requirements while partnering

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in an Environment, Health & Safety related field.
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification
• Experience in emergency response planning and procedures

Responsibilities

• Maintain site safety programs.
• Conduct trainings and coaching associates on observed work habits.
• Lead a site safety committee.
• Maintain KPIs for onsite management teams.
• Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed and new equipment introductions.
• Track trainings across the different jobs functions as needed.
• Support incident reporting and investigation.
• Conduct root cause analyses.
• Complete or facilitate inspections of all safety-related equipment, PPE, and procedures.
• Ensure site complies with all local, state and federal environmental regulations.
• Fulfill client-related EHS requirements.
• Identify and inform management of hazards, compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through audits.
