Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational safety, environmental concentration, chemistry or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in safety or environmental management in an industrial setting.
• Experience in food/beverage manufacturing preferred; supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop safety, security and environmental compliance programs for the site.
• Manage Lockout Tagout (LOTO) program and risk assessment methods.
• Develop and implement training systems to meet facility needs.
• Lead safety initiatives to improve environmental performance and cost control.
• Ensure incident investigations and corrective actions are completed.
• Support permitting and compliance with OSHA, EPA and site policies.
• Participate in ammonia refrigeration management, Tier II chemical inventory, TRI and waste programs.
