Job summary

Danone North America is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager for the West Jordan, Utah site. This role reports to the Senior Plant Director and leads safety, security, health and environmental programs to keep a safe workplace and ensure regulatory compliance.

The EHS Manager will drive risk assessments, training systems, incident investigations, and alignment with the facility and corporate teams to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in safety, Environmental Health, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing effective EHS programs in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop Safety, Security and Environmental Compliance Programs for the site.
• Create and support EHS vision used by all workers to understand safety, environmental and security policies.
• Develop risk assessment methods/systems to anticipate, identify, evaluate and reduce hazards.
• Lead development and implementation of training systems to meet facility needs.
• Manage resources to lead and support safety systems and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Facility Management and Corporate teams on key EHS issues and improvements.
