Job summary

Danone West Jordan, Utah is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead site safety, health, and environmental programs and ensure a safe workplace while minimizing environmental impact. The role reports to the Senior Plant Director and drives compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The EHS Manager will develop risk assessment methods, lead incident investigations, ensure training systems, and partner with cross-functional teams to advance the facility’s EHS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Chemistry or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing EHS programs in a manufacturing environment; food/beverage experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement company Safety, Security and Environmental Compliance Programs.
• Create EHS vision used by all workers to understand safety, environmental and security policies.
• Lead risk assessment methods to anticipate, identify, evaluate and reduce hazards.
• Develop and implement training systems to meet facility needs and ensure compliance.
• Manage resources to lead and support safety systems and measure performance.
