Job summary

Danone U.S. is seeking an EHS Specialist based in Minster, Ohio. You will lead safety, environmental, and health programs to create a safe, compliant manufacturing site and support continuous improvement across safety metrics.

The role emphasizes developing and implementing training, managing LOTO, and ensuring adherence to GMP, OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards in a 24/7 production setting. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in occupational safety, environmental concentration, chemistry or related field; 2+ years experience in safety/environmental management in an industrial setting.
Alternative: 5+ years EHS experience with high school diploma or GED.
Experience in food/beverage manufacturing is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead safety, environmental and health processes to ensure a safe work environment.
Develop and implement Safety, Security and Environmental programs (WISE).
Manage Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) program.
Lead risk assessments to identify and reduce hazards.
Develop and implement training systems for facility needs.
Support capital projects to improve safety and environmental performance.
Audit and improve safety systems and incident investigations.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001 and related regulations.
