Job summary

Danone U.S. is seeking a Plant Supervisor in Minster, OH to lead a frontline manufacturing team focused on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people.

You will manage shift operations, coordinate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain, and drive daily production plans in a 2-2-3 schedule. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with leadership experience in food manufacturing, knowledge of lean methods, and the ability to mentor staff.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Associate’s degree (or greater) in a relevant field preferred.
• If there is no complete degree, equivalent leadership work experience (2+ years) in manufacturing/processing.
• Previous supervisory experience within a food environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop frontline manufacturing employees to achieve operational and business objectives.
• Foster a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork.
• Plan, assign, and direct work activities to optimize workforce effectiveness and production performance.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles and IWS.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Warehouse and Supply Chain.
