US Farathane Corporation is seeking an EHS Specialist to lead and support the environmental, health, and safety function at the Port Huron plant in Michigan. You will ensure OSHA compliance, coordinate safety programs, and drive continuous improvement.

You will investigate incidents, perform root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions while providing day-to-day support to operations. This role reports to the plant management team and collaborates with safety committees.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in an EHS role.
• Experience in plastic injection molding environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Follow, enforce, and communicate OSHA safety procedures.
• Coordinate the safety program including written programs, training, inspections, and committee activities.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Provide support to plant for environmental, health, and safety questions and concerns.
• Report to the Management Team on the status of the environmental management system, including audits and corrective action plans.
• Lead workers compensation claims, including paperwork and communications with injured employees and insurer.
• Other duties as assigned.
