Job summary

The EHS Specialist at US Farathane Corporation leads and supports the environmental, health, and safety function at the plant level, ensuring OSHA and internal safety procedures are followed and communicated. You will coordinate safety programs, trainings, inspections and safety committee activities to meet local and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience in an EHS role.
• Experience in a plastic injection molding environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the EHS function at the plant level.
• Enforce internal and OSHA safety procedures.
• Coordinate safety programs, written programs, training, inspections, and committee activities.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide support on environmental, health, and safety questions/concerns.
• Report EMS status, audits, and corrective actions to Management.
• Lead workers compensation claims, including paperwork and insurer communications.
• Other duties as assigned.
