Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an EHS Manager to lead Safety programs at a process facility in South Haven, MI. You will collaborate with plant leadership to implement policies in line with OSHA and MIOSHA requirements and oversee safety teams and site compliance activities.

You will drive health and industrial hygiene programs, training, audits, and corrective actions, reporting to the Site Manager as part of the Site Leadership team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 8+ years of chemical, pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing experience.
• Supervisory and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Process Safety programs in a process facility with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 and MIOSHA Part 91 and EPA RMP provisions.
• Lead and manage Process Safety Advisor and other safety professionals; conduct PHAs and LOPA studies.
• Administer health, industrial hygiene programs, safety training, and site-wide EHS tracking systems.
• Coordinate compliance audits, emergency planning, and reporting.
