Job summary

IAC Group is seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives at our Port Huron manufacturing site. The role focuses on program development, regulatory compliance, and driving a culture of safety across all levels of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years in EHS within manufacturing, strong OSHA/EPA knowledge, and proven ability to train and engage employees while managing audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, safety, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• CSP certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and compliance.
• Excellent communication and training capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and environmental strategy and compliance.
• Conduct inspections and risk assessments on site.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees.
• Investigate incidents and implement preventive actions.
• Maintain SDS and hazard communication standards.
• Coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
• Lead safety committees and cross-functional projects.
• Engage employees to foster a safety culture.
• Prepare for regulatory inspections and permit applications.
• Stay current on HSE regulations and best practices.
