Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an EHS professional to support personnel EHS matters for employees and contractors in an early-stage discovery R&D laboratory facility. Under the direction of the EHS Associate Director, you will develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and training to ensure regulatory compliance and a positive safety culture.

Responsibilities include hazard identification, incident investigations, training delivery, and collaboration with the internal EHS network across sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 10 years of EHS relevant experience or
• Associate Degree and Advanced Safety Specialist Certification plus minimum 8 years of EHS experience or
• Bachelor's Degree in EHS-related field plus minimum 3 years of EHS-related experience

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategic EHS programs to protect personnel, facilities and the environment.
• Interprets and ensures compliance with external EHS regulations and internal standards.
• Leads hazard identification/ risk assessment and safety program management, including lockout/tagout and industrial hygiene.
