Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking an EHS Specialist to implement and administer Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene and OSHA programs at multiple U.S. facilities. The role emphasizes creating a healthy, accident-free workplace through hazard recognition and proactive controls.

You will lead compliance activities, analyze data, and support sustainability and training efforts while collaborating with plant management and staff to advance safety culture.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemistry, Engineering, or Environmental Science.
• 3–5 years of experience in an EHS role.
• Knowledge of hazard recognition, evaluation and control.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance with federal, state, local and corporate EHS laws and guidelines.
• Analyze data and audit processes for ergonomics, emergency preparedness and response, and other standards.
• Support and improve EHS programs to reduce hazards and risks.
• Assist in leading EHS projects and required reporting.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analyses with corrective actions.
