Job summary

Voltava is seeking an EHS Specialist to support environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace. You will provide technical guidance, partner with leaders, and drive continuous improvement to strengthen safety performance.

You will develop and deliver EHS training, investigate incidents, manage environmental reporting, and coordinate audits, drills, and regulatory compliance across facilities. Strong communication and data analysis skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental, health, and safety activities through leadership and cross-functional partnership.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver EHS training for Team Members and new hires.
• Investigate injuries and illnesses, analyze data, and support corrective actions and countermeasures.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead Safety Team activities and ensure follow-up on issues.
• Conduct safety observations, audits, and inspections with timely follow-up.
• Coordinate emergency evacuation procedures and drills.
• Coordinate chemical awareness training and monitor compliance.
• Ensure environmental reports (land, air, water, hazardous waste) are accurate and timely.
• Manage pollution prevention and hazardous waste programs.
• Coordinate recycling efforts for recyclable materials.
• Serve as ISO 14000 Management Representative as assigned.
